We’re proud to have contributed to Arakat Coffee Pub and Arakat Suite Hotel, set in one of Çukurcuma’s most remarkable buildings, where Istanbul’s history and artistic spirit still resonate.
The brand’s story begins with its founder, who started his career at Ara Güler’s legendary café and built a close friendship with the master photographer over the years. Drawing inspiration from this meaningful connection,
the name Arakat was born — a tribute to Ara Güler’s enduring legacy and creative spirit.
The visual identity reflects the street’s historic charm while uniting both concepts. The custom logotype highlights the “A,” inspired by the building’s iron railings, with a subtle tilt on the “R” and “A” adding balance and a modern rhythm.
